The Sky Spirals Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, promoting healing through art-in-nature. The first site is S.U.N.F.A.R.M (Hudson Valley, NY), a site-specific work in progress about a harmonious, sustainable relationship between humankind and the natural environment. The project facilities art as a vehicle to interpret celestial events in a place designed to make us “aware of where we are in space and time”; such awareness guides to well-being.
Founded by Daniela Bertol, an architect, designer and artist, working at the intersection between art and science. Her projects, based on a unified approach to knowledge, encompass several disciplines and media including astronomy, land art, geoglyphs, architecture, design, digital models, photography and video.
